Welcome to the world of Hunter Gianna
I am Gianna Tan, a Malaysian native with a diverse background that has taken me on a journey from the world of high finance to the realm of naturalism.
After graduating from Tsinghua University, I began my career as an investment banker in Hong Kong. The transition from the corporate world into the woods is unusual and may seem to many as vastly different fields. However, both jobs can be similar if you can tell a good story.
Previously, I utilized financial statements to construct a future growth story of a company for my clients. I am still a storyteller, then and now, the only difference is this time I will walk to the uncharted territories, uncovering the hidden stories from this land that gave birth to me and nurtured me.
From the lush rainforests, vibrant cities, and ancient cultural sites, to an astonishing compilation of folktales, legends, dances, and theatre. The stories I am about to unfold convey depth, complexity, and often peculiarities about these tropical lands. I believe nothing I had learned from Tsinghua and or the bank prepared me for this.
